Scotty Miller Held To Three Catches In Win

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Scotty Miller caught three of six targets for 35 receiving yards in a victory over the Giants. The six targets were nice, but Miller and Brady weren't on the same page on a couple of throws down the field, limiting Miller's numbers. This is the second time that the 23-year-old has disappointed without Chris Godwin (finger) in the lineup. With Antonio Brown set to soak up some targets in Week 9, Godwin around the corner, and Mike Evans still commanding attention, Miller will effectively be the fourth or fifth option in this offense. He can be dropped in most leagues.

Rob Gronkowski, Scotty Miller Good To Go

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski (shoulder) and wide receiver Scotty Miller (hip, groin) are both good to go for Monday night against the Giants. Both Gronkowski and Miller were limited on Thursday and Friday of this week, though they have no injury designations after both were full participants on Saturday. Without Chris Godwin (finger), both players could potentially see more looks in the passing game. Look at Gronkowski as a solid TE1 and Miller as a risky WR3/flex with considerable upside against the Giants Defense on Monday night. Miller had six catches for 109 yards and his second touchdown of the season in Week 7. This could be his final chance to help fantasy owners with Antonio Brown set to enter the picture in Week 9.

Scotty Miller A Risky Play

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Scotty Miller could have a chance at more targets in Week 8 without Chris Godwin (finger) on the field. Miller has started two games without Godwin, producing a 2-11-0 line in Week 2 and a 5-83-1 line in Week 4. Brady certainly seems to trust him, which bodes well for his outlook. However, the game script might be working against him, as the Giants aren't likely to keep this a close contest. He's a risky WR4 for this game, though he's a player that can be rolled out there if you're up against it with injuries or bye weeks.
