Cunningham's career previously included stints with the Texans, Titans, Eagles, and Broncos. He was once a standout defender in Houston and even led the NFL in tackles in 2020. However, he was more of a depth player in his age-30 season last year, making just four tackles over seven games (zero starts) with Denver. He'll provide similar value to a Detroit defense that had been seeking veteran linebacker depth.
