Browns
Cleveland Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (neck) is out of the hospital and defensive back Denzel Ward (concussion) is currently in concussion protocol according to Kelsey Russo. Koramoah left Sunday's game on a cart after enduring a collision and went to the hospital out of precaution. Thankfully, the 24-year-old was discharged and did not suffer any serious injuries. Ward suffered his second concussion of the 2024 season on Sunday and will likely miss at least one game as he progresses through the league's protocol. The Browns are slated to face the Los Angeles Charges next week. If both players are unable to suit up, the Browns defense should not be considered as a potential streaming option without two of their top starters.

Browns Give Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah A New Deal
The Cleveland Browns agreed on a three-year deal worth up to $39 million with $25 million guaranteed with standout, do-it-all linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah on Wednesday, according to sources. The 24-year-old cashes in after a Pro Bowl season in 2023 in which he set career-highs in total tackles (101), solo tackles (72), sacks (3.5), tackles for loss (20), QB hits (five), interceptions (two) and pass breakups (six) in 16 regular-season games in his third year in the league. Owusu-Koramoah was drafted in the second round (52nd overall) in 2021 out of Notre Dame and will once again be a big part of Cleveland's imposing defense in 2024. In IDP fantasy leagues, he's at least worth a look as a bench option at the linebacker position.

Browns Put Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah On IR
The Cleveland Browns placed linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (foot) on Injured Reserve on Tuesday. Owusu-Koramoah was injured in the Week 14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals and will now miss the rest of the regular season with only four games remaining. The Browns are still trying to determine if the 23-year-old will need surgery, which could put his availability for next season in jeopardy. Owusu-Koramoah finishes his second NFL season with 70 tackles (45 solo), seven tackles for loss, four passes defensed and two forced fumbles in 11 games (10 starts).

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Anthony Walker Jr. Injured Thursday
Cleveland Browns linebackers Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (quadriceps) and Anthony Walker Jr. (knee) were both injured in the Thursday night game against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers. Owusu-Koramoah is listed as questionable to return with a quadriceps injury after being taken back to the locker room to be evaluated. Walker was carted off the field and had his left leg put in a brace after getting injured in the third quarter. Before leaving, he had six tackles (one for a loss). With both Owusu-Koramoah and Walker injured, Tony Fields and Jacob Phillips will see more playing time at the position for Cleveland for the rest of Thursday night's game.

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah Activated From IR
The Cleveland Browns activated rookie linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (ankle) and cornerback M.J. Stewart (hamstring) from Injured Reserve on Saturday and waived defensive tackle Andrew Billings in a corresponding move. The Browns also elevated running back Brian Hill from the practice squad to the active roster to serve as D'Ernest Johnson's backup in Week 10 against the Cleveland Browns. "Speed. Coverage ability. Tackling. Blitzing. Everything," defensive coordinator Joe Woods said of Owusu-Koramoah. "He's a very talented player." The 22-year-old is returning from a high ankle sprain and gives the Browns incredible athleticism all over the field. He has 29 tackles (20 solo), four passes defensed, one forced fumble and half a sack in six games (five starts).

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah Dealing With High Ankle Sprain
Cleveland Browns rookie linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (ankle) is dealing with a high ankle sprain that will likely keep him out anywhere from four to six weeks. Owusu-Koramoah was also sent to the hospital with a throat contusion after the Week 5 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, but his ankle injury is obviously much more concerning. The 21-year-old second-rounder has played a near every down role each of the last two weeks, playing 91% of the defensive snaps against LA and 85% of the snaps in the Week 6 blowout loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He has recorded 29 tackles (20 solo), four passes defensed, a forced fumble and half a sack in six games. Cleveland's defense, which has allowed 84 points in their last two games, is searching for answers as they head into a Thursday night game against the Denver Broncos.

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah Getting First-Team Reps
Cleveland Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah is starting to get first-team reps with the defense during camp. During Cleveland's joint practice with the New York Giants on Thursday, Owusu-Koramoah got some run with the first team during some 11-on-11 drills. The talented rookie missed a portion of camp early while on the COVID-19 reserve list but he has impressed with his athleticism since returning. Team beat reporter Jake Trotter stated on Thursday that the Owusu-Koramoah is a "missile off the edge" and that he is "going to be a player." The Browns may have gotten a steal in drafting the rookie out of Notre Dame in the second round of the 2021 NFL draft. If he can win a starting role, JOK is an interesting name to keep in mind in IDP leagues this season.

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah Activated From COVID-19 List
The Cleveland Browns activated linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah from the COVID-19 reserve list and he was able to participate in individual drills on Tuesday. The rookie linebacker had to quarantine for 10 days but reportedly looked to be in excellent shape as he tries to get acclimated to the NFL. Owusu-Koramoah will be brought up to speed slowly in camp but he has a chance to earn a meaningful role on defense as early as the season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs. An excellent athlete, Owusu-Koramoah is an interesting name to keep in mind in IDP leagues.

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah Has Heart Issue
Cleveland Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (heart) fell to pick No. 52 overall in last week's NFL draft because a heart issue came up late in the pre-draft process, according to sources. However, doctors ultimately cleared him. If not for the heart issue, Owusu-Koramoah could've come off the board in the first round. Cleveland traded up to keep him from sliding any further on Day 2. The former Notre Dame product is a linebacker/safety hybrid, which will allow the Browns to drop him into coverage or rush him off the edge. Owusu-Koramoah will bring intensity and a high motor to his new club. He finished his senior season for the Fighting Irish with 62 tackles (11 for loss) and three forced fumbles.
