Lil'Jordan Humphrey News
The Denver Broncos have signed wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey to the practice squad on Saturday. They've also elevated Humphrey to the active roster ahead of Sunday's Week 7 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. The 25-year-old was let go by the team on Friday, but returns a day later. The Broncos offense is in need of some help with tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) landing on the injured reserve. Humphrey has recorded four receptions for 26 yards and a touchdown in six games this season. Fantasy managers shouldn't view him as a reliable streaming option.
Denver Broncos wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey was released by the team again on Friday. The 25-year-old wideout was actually cut by the Broncos last week before subsequently resigning to the Denver practice squad and then being added to the active roster before Week 6. This time, however, the Broncos claimed defensive tackle Keondre Coburn, formerly of the Kansas City Chiefs, off waivers and needed to make room for him, so Humphrey was released yet again. If history is any indication, the fifth-year wide receiver could find himself back on the Denver practice squad before next weekend.
Denver Broncos wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey has been released by the team. The fifth-year receiver, who has played sparingly through the first five weeks of the season, will finish his tenure with the Broncos with four catches for 25 yards and a score. Humphrey was cut at the end of camp in August before being resigned to the practice squad and eventually being promoted to the active roster in Week 1. Not that the 25-year-old commanded much offensive attention in the first place, but his departure should open up more looks in the passing game for Marvin Mims Jr., who despite playing far fewer snaps than Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton, is leading the Broncos with 246 receiving yards.
