Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs (calf, illness) and linebacker Micah Parsons (ankle) are officially active for Week 10 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Both players had been listed as questionable. Diggs had missed practice on Friday but was widely expected to play this weekend. He has 31 tackles and one interception this season. The 26-year-old will be tasked with slowing down the connection between quarterback Jalen Hurts and his top receivers, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. Parsons, meanwhile, is returning to play in his first game since Week 4 against the New York Giants. The star 25-year-old had amassed 14 tackles and one sack through his first four games. His return provides a major boost to Dallas' defense ahead of this week's divisional contest.

Trevon Diggs Active In Week 9
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs (calf) is officially active and will play on Sunday in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons. Linebacker Eric Kendricks (shoulder), who was also listed as questionable on Friday's final injury report, is active as well, while linebacker Micah Parsons (ankle) and cornerback DaRon Bland (foot) remain out. Diggs is returning to Dallas' secondary after recovering from a partial tear in his calf muscle. The 26-year-old's return is great news for a struggling Cowboys defense, but Diggs could be eased back into action against Atlanta. Fantasy managers should still be looking to stay away from the Cowboys' defense/special teams unit in fantasy lineups against a Falcons offense with plenty of weapons. Diggs' return could be bad news for Falcons wideout Drake London.

Trevon Diggs Considered A Game-Time Decision For Week 9
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs (calf) is expected to be a game-time decision against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Even though Diggs is listed as questionable and didn't practice this week, the Cowboys are leaving the door open for him to suit up against Atlanta. The 26-year-old defender is off to a quieter start this season, amassing 28 tackles and just one interception through seven games so far. If he can't suit up, Caelen Carson and Andrew Booth would earn additional opportunities on defense.

Trevon Diggs Uncertain For Week 9
Dallas Cowboys defensive back Trevon Diggs (calf) is reportedly going to be a game-time decision for the Week 9 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. The young defensive back reportedly has a tear in his calf, but was able to get through some practice work on Friday. It sounds like the Cowboys are going to wait and see how Diggs feels closer to Sunday. The loss of Diggs would be a significant hit to the Dallas defense that is already without pass rusher Micah Parsons (ankle) and defensive back DaRon Bland (foot) for Sunday's game.

Trevon Diggs Officially Active For Sunday Night Football
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs (ankle) is active for Sunday's meeting with the Steelers. The veteran was a late addition to the injury report. However, there were reports things were moving in a favorable direction, so the latest update isn't surprising to fantasy managers. While the Cowboys defense will certainly benefit with Diggs active, his presence isn't good news for Justin Fields, who is coming off a stellar showing in the Week 4 loss to the Colts.

Trevon Diggs Expected To Play Sunday Night
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs (ankle), who had been listed as questionable, is expected to be active for Sunday Night Football against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz. Although Diggs missed practice on Friday, he evidently has progressed enough to play since then. The 26-year-old has 18 tackles through four games but is still looking to force his first turnover of the 2024 season. This week, he'll be tasked with slowing down a Steelers passing attack that features Justin Fields and George Pickens.

Trevon Diggs Questionable For Cowboys Defense
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs (ankle) is listed as questionable to play on Sunday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Diggs popped up on the injury report on Thursday and was limited in practice before sitting out on Friday. In addition, cornerback Caelen Carson (shoulder) and rookie linebacker Marist Liufau (quadriceps) are questionable. The vaunted Cowboys defense has not only disappointed so far in 2024, but they're also without star pass-rushers DeMarcus Lawrence (foot) and Micah Parsons (ankle) in Week 5. Steelers wide receiver George Pickens would benefit the most if Diggs is unable to play this week. With all the injuries to that side of the ball, Dallas' defense/special teams unit is merely a streaming option against Steelers dual-threat quarterback Justin Fields on the road this weekend.

Trevon Diggs Comes Off The Injury Report
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs (foot) was removed from the Week 3 injury report on Friday after putting in a full practice. Diggs was held out on Wednesday before being upgraded to a limited session on Thursday. He will be active on Sunday to face the visiting Baltimore Ravens and will likely be tasked with trying to slow down Ravens top receiver Zay Flowers. The ball-hawking defensive back already has one interception through two games to go with 10 total tackles (eight solo) and two pass breakups. It's great news for Dallas' defense/special teams unit that Diggs will be able to play this weekend, but the Cowboys D/ST is a clear fade in DFS and season-long formats this weekend against a Ravens team that has their back against the wall and is desperately trying to avoid going 0-3 early on. Baltimore's offense has averaged 21.5 points through the first two weeks of 2024.

Trevon Diggs Not Expected To Be Limited In Week 1
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs (knee) suffered a torn ACL in practice leading up to Week 3 of last season, but he is not on the Cowboys' injury report leading up to the Week 1 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Head coach Mike McCarthy suggested he will not be on a pitch count or be limited in his return to action. "I see him healthy, ready to go, McCarthy said. "As standing here today, I see him slated as a full-time player. I think Trevon's been right on schedule as far as how much he'll play." Diggs led the league with 11 interceptions in 2021 and has one All-Pro nod and two Pro Bowl selections on his resume. With 2023 breakout cornerback DaRon Bland (foot) on Injured Reserve, the Cowboys will need Diggs to be at full strength heading into a matchup against receiver Amari Cooper.

Trevon Diggs Will Be Ready For Regular Season
The Dallas Cowboys have no reservations about cornerback Trevon Diggs (knee) being ready for the Week 1 regular-season opener. Diggs is tracking positively after his torn left ACL in September, and the Cowboys will work him into individual drills soon enough at training camp. The 25-year-old defensive back has already been activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list. Dallas is going to make sure not to put too much on Digg's plate too soon this summer, but barring a setback with his knee, he should be in the starting lineup on defense to kick off the regular season, which will be a huge boost to Dallas' high-end fantasy defense. The two-time Pro Bowler is one of the best ball hawks in the NFL when healthy, as evidenced by his 18 interceptions in 47 career games in his first four seasons.
