The former sixth-round pick of the Seattle Seahawks in 2018 will return to Houston to give them pass-rushing depth. In his five years in the NFL to this point, Martin has 78 total tackles (45 solo), 16 sacks, 15 tackles for loss, 29 QB hits, four passes defensed, seven forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries in 74 games played (15 starts).

Martin is one of several players that is expected to fill the void left by outside linebacker Bradley Chubb, who was traded to the Miami Dolphins at Tuesday's deadline. The 26-year-old should see a significant role on Denver's defensive line right away, at least until Randy Gregory and Baron Browning are able to return from injuries.
