According to Adam Schefter, free-agent offensive guard Michael Jordan is signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. No, it's not the NBA superstar with the same name as the 62-year-old probably isn't in shape to play football right now. This Jordan is heading into his sixth-year in the league. He most recently made 11 starts with the New England Patriots last season. Jordan was released late in the season and joined the Green Bay Packers practice squad. He figures to compete for a depth spot on the roster. Ben Bredeson and Cody Mauch are the starters going into camp, so maybe Jordan can earn a spot behind them.

The Carolina Panthers re-signed offensive guard Michael Jordan to an undisclosed deal on Thursday. Jordan will now enter his third season for the Panthers after playing in 28 games (10 starts) for the team over the last two seasons. The 25-year-old offensive lineman played in all 17 games in 2022. He was originally a fourth-round selection by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2019 out of Ohio State. Jordan spent the first two years of his NFL career with the Bengals before joining Carolina. In his four-year career, Jordan has played in 55 games (29 starts) and will continue to give the Panthers offensive-line depth in 2023.
