The Baltimore Ravens agreed in principle to a contract extension with head coach John Harbaugh with "some lawyer stuff left to do," according to a source. Harbaugh inserted rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson into the starting role over Joe Flacco in the middle of the season and led the team to a 10-6 record, the AFC North title and their first playoff berth since 2014. The 56-year-old is the fifth winningest active coach in the league with a 114-77 record. He has taken the Ravens to the playoffs in seven of his 11 seasons, including a Super Bowl win in 2012. Baltimore has just one losing season under Harbaugh. His presence moving forward is good news for the development of Jackson under center.

Baltimore Ravens running back Javorius Allen and wide receiver/running back Ty Montgomery are two of the Ravens' unrestricted free agents that may not return. Both players are valuable special team members, which may help their cause in a bid to find a team. Allen appeared in 14 games overall but was not involved in the offense at all over the last month of the season. The 27-year-old finished the campaign with 110 yards along with three touchdowns on 43 carries and 35 receptions for an additional 196 yards and two scores. Montgomery made six appearances for the Ravens after coming over from the Packers, totaling 83 yards on 15 carries (5.5 ypc) along with 65 yards on 10 receptions. Neither player is a feature back. However, both could have fantasy value in PPR leagues on the right team as third-down backs.
